Dear Mr. Lo,

As I spoke to you I am taking the Compradoreship to the Chilian Consulate and wish to go into partnership with you on the following conditions:

That you pay the amount of $800 - which I have disbursed That you furnish & Cash Security of $5000 as guarantee required

by the Consulate

That you are to advance any further Cash that way from time to time be required by the consulate, such advance to be re- covered from receipts on account of Consulate -

That you will have to give your services to the Consulate as

interpreter or representative of the Compradore 1 hour or more daily as the Consul may find necessary and procure whatever the Consul may want from the Compradore That you will co-operate with me to the best of your ability to carry out the duties of the Compradore satisfactorily, honestly and diligently; you are to arrange the office for Compradore, engage the necessary staff after consulting me and jointly with me to work in arranging passages, freight and other matters

That true and correct accounts will be kept by you and me of the partnership, all monies collected to be deposited in Bank in our

joint name or as may be arranged and proceeds of the work- ing to be divided equally between you and me.

The above are the main conditions and upon your signing this to signify you accept them and desire to take up the partner- ship I shall take you to the consulate to determine same, and to be operative from this date.
